Welcome to our School

Veritas Primary Academy is a bright and vibrant learning environment where you will always be welcomed with a smile. We embrace everyone in our school community and strive to create a real family ethos for our pupils, staff, governors, parents and carers. We are a two form entry school for children aged 4 to 11 years old and have our own on site Nursery for children aged 3 to 4 years. We are a very friendly school where children are encouraged to become confident, caring and articulate and to use their abilities to the full. We aim to provide a calm and happy atmosphere and set high standards of respect, courtesy, hard work and achievement for all children and adults.

We first opened our school doors in September 2015 to 150 pupils and have been growing ever since. Our school building has been refurbished to the highest standard and is well equipped with purpose built classrooms, an extensive library, an expertly designed outdoor play and learning environment, not to mention state of the art ICT facilities including a 4d cinema, designed to enhance children’s learning.

We are an extended school which means we offer provision from 7.45am until 5:45pm daily. We offer a range of after school enrichment activities which change termly to ensure there is something for every pupil to enjoy. We enrich the curriculum as much as possible through educational and residential visits, visiting speakers and professionals, first-hand experiences and by drawing upon the local and wider community. Parents are encouraged to become actively involved in their children’s learning and to share their enjoyment of school. 

As a member of the REAch2 Academy Trust we can count on the support and advice of the country’s largest primary only academy trust and would like to reassure the parents who will be sending their children to Veritas that their children’s learning is in safe hands.
