At Veritas, we believe that PSHE is about much more than lessons. It is about helping children grow into confident, respectful and responsible individuals who are ready to flourish in an ever-changing world.
Through engaging discussions, collaborative activities and real-life learning experiences, our PSHE curriculum equips pupils with the knowledge, skills and character they need to build positive relationships, make informed choices and stay safe.
Our curriculum focuses on three key areas:
At Veritas, we are committed to nurturing compassionate, resilient and responsible young people who are equipped not only for success in school, but for life beyond the classroom.

At Veritas, we believe that working closely with parents and carers is key to supporting children’s personal development. Each year, we invite families to find out more about our RSHE curriculum, giving them the opportunity to view the learning content, ask questions and share their thoughts. We value the insights and feedback of our school community and are committed to keeping parents informed about the topics their children will be learning throughout the year.
Please Note: Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) contains statutory elements that all schools are required to teach. Parents and carers do not have the right to withdraw their child from the statutory Relationships Education and Health Education curriculum. We are always happy to discuss the content of our RSHE programme and answer any questions you may have. Please contact the school if you would like further information.
