Headteacher's Welcome

At Veritas, we are a vibrant, welcoming and ambitious school where every child is valued, supported and inspired to achieve their very best. From the moment children walk through our doors, we want them to feel happy, safe and proud to be part of our school community.

Our aim is to create an environment where children develop confidence, curiosity and a lifelong love of learning, supported by caring adults who know them as individuals and help them to flourish. This reflects our Vision and Values of Safe, Ownership, Aspiration and Respect (SOAR), which underpin everything we do.

We have high expectations for all our pupils and believe that every child can succeed. Through a rich, engaging curriculum, memorable enrichment opportunities and strong relationships, we encourage our children to dream big, embrace challenges and develop the resilience, character and skills they need to thrive in an ever-changing world. Our children are encouraged to take ownership of their learning, celebrate their achievements and understand that success comes through effort, determination and perseverance.

Respect sits at the heart of our school community. We nurture kindness, empathy and teamwork, helping our children develop into responsible citizens who value themselves, others and the world around them. By working closely with families, governors, our Trust and the wider community, we create a strong sense of belonging where everyone is encouraged to contribute and succeed.

I am incredibly proud to lead Veritas Primary Academy and of the wonderful children, staff and families who make our school such a special place. Whether you are a prospective parent considering our school, or already part of our community, I hope our website gives you a flavour of all that Veritas has to offer.

We look forward to welcoming you and helping your child to SOAR towards a bright and successful future.
